Brad has been a successful entrepreneur since the beginning of his career, starting his first company at the age of 23 which he still owners today, 35 years later. During this time, he has advised and consulted with national and multinational organizations across 29 different sectors, 180+ clients and over 7,800 engagements. In many cases some of those clients have stayed with him for one to two decades based on the success he has helped them achieve.
Additionally, Brad acts as the Chair of the Conestoga College Bachelor of Design Program Advisor Committee leading the discussion that helps shape the curriculum for the degree. He also advises several not-for-profit organizations on growth strategy and strategic business plans in his spare time.
In addition to running his Brand Consultancy, Brad had a vision for the future and Co-founded a digital marketing firm in the mid 90s with 2 other partners and successfully sold his position and exited that business reaping a 10x return on his original investment in less the 5 years. He is also no stranger to M&A having raised capital for his Brand Consultancy, Yield with a private equity firm whereby the firm realize an 800% return in 5 short years. He’s also acquired several businesses to strategically expand his consultancy, which resulted in doubling revenues with new services offered to clients.
Brad is equally adept at helping large global corporations like Porsche, Equifax, Scotiabank International and World Vision as well as small to medium enterprises and startups. His success is rooted in a strong focus on results, helping clients define their objectives and goals, determining how to achieve them and measuring that success along the way – “Success often isn’t linear but if you don’t have plan and measure its effectiveness then how do you know when and what to change, guessing isn’t a strategy.”
